The Lamb Pasliyan dish is one of Bhoomi Kitchen’s featured small plates – with the secret to its succulence lying in the long marination process. In our restaurant, we marinate the chops overnight in malt vinegar, but you can still make this delicious dish at home in just over one hour.
We’re starting our Recipe of The Month with a Bhoomi Kitchen highlight, but check our ‘What’s On‘ page next month to learn how to make something special from our Bao + BBQ menu.
In Bhoomi, we serve the Lamb Pasliyan with our smoked roasted aubergine mash
– but we’re not ready to give away that secret recipe just yet!
( FOR 4 PEOPLE ) WHAT YOU NEED :
A large bowl
1 tsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 tsp Lemon Juice
1 tsp Vegetable Oil
Salt to taste
8 Lamb Chops
To cook, mix all of the spices, lemon juice and oil together in a large bowl. Add the lamb chops to the bowl and leave to marinate for one hour. Once marinated, grill the chops on each side until they look and feel soft and tender.
